Hey guys, so i've ordered a couple upgrades... SW Motech bars, 13inch replacement shocks (for my short self), and I ordered a left replacement crankcase cover from

partsfish. Everything has arrived but the crankcase that i ordered from partsfish and the ordered was submitted and paid for on April 9th. Is this normal? I see they have

a 1-800 number but does anyone have an email address for contact?

Also, I'm not very handy, do you think I could handle installing a 7inch Led headlight without paying a shop to install?

Thanks a bunch.

I'm not familiar with all the different types of LED headlight conversions. They range from simple bulb H4-base replacements to those with passive heat sinks or integral-fan heat sinks.

Space inside the headlight case and possible excess heat may be concerns. Did you get instructions with it? And maybe a picture of what you bought.

You may be experiencing the same problem I'm having with my Triumph. Due to the Coronavirus, some frequently stocked maintenance parts are readily available, but other parts that aren't frequently ordered and not stocked by distributors here in the U.S. Your engine cover might have to come from Japan, and that might take a long time right now.

My Triumph has been in the shop for a month, waiting for new fork assemblies. The dealer says they had to order them from the factory, and are patiently waiting.

Regarding an LED conversions, there are several options. I'm very happy with my H4 LED bulb that puts all of the "guts" on the front side, that doesn't put anything hot on the back side, and has the same dimensions as a standard bulb.

What sort did you use, Gone in 60? How much better do you think it is than an incandescent H4?
