I use 6th gear all the time ... on every ride.

I do not like "lugging" the engine .

Running 2500 - 3500 rpms is not lugging this engine, whether you are in 1st or 6th, the engine is turning the same rpms. It actually takes less hp to maintain speed than it does to attain that same speed.
