Solo saddle, heated seat, Sunbrella top surface.

The red top is more of a black cherry color that goes very well with the tank stripe and medalion on the black CB. Less so with the red one.

The wings seems smaller than the big seat I had on the Griso - that one was 2nd hand so I'm unsure what sort of body it was build for. While it feels flatter, they also say it takes 500-1000 miles to break in. I suspect most of the break in period will occur on the trip to Death Valley next month.

I asked Rboe to repost this since I accidentally deleted his original post.

I think Nachodaddy had a question about the windshield or fairing, so Nachodaddy of you could repost your question that would be great.

My apologies to all

Thanks Ferret, I missed that. Got distracted by some unguarded wine here in the dungeon.
Anyway, Rboe, I like your fairing on the red bike and wanted to know what kind it is and if it gives good wind protection. Thanks

National Cycle Street Shield EX...... Meh, keeps the wind off my chest. I tried using one of those flip shields spoilers - another meh. I took it off. It was easier to lean the screen back a bit more so my head was in cleaner air.

I might have a stronger opinion after the Death Valley trip. Last time I took a CB, it was the red one with Chip cafe' screen. It seemed to work as well for me as the Street Shield. With perhaps less chest protection.

RbumRhappy would fit me to a T. Tongue

Ah, my bad. All in all, more protection than one would expect - and at times. As little as you would expect. Big Grin

Based on my Road Comet with a regular screen I would totally agree with Rboe.
