Thermometer for air temp?
#1

Anyone keep an air temp gauge on the motorcycle? Seems like I kept a cheap plastic one on my last one, and find myself keep looking down for the temp like I do in my car, of course on a motorcycle outside temp is more important as it gets cooler and you need to dress properly....
I did see this on Amazon but seems a little big to mount on the CB gauge area.

I like mine. Go to a kitchen supply store and get one with a big dial. The shaft is about 5".
$8.00

zip tie or tape it to the bars

Tripod, Do you think the C- Mount ones for 1" bars will fit the CB? I think our bars are 7/8" ?

I have a thermometer from these people: http://www.clocks4bikes.com/

They have clocks and thermometers and have 7/8" mounts.

Not sure. I have not used the handlebar mounts. Only the mounts that go on the plate that holds speedo and tach. I have also had them on the steering stem nut.

Another user of Clocks4Bikes here. Bought a clock and thermometer for the Quota. Took them off when I sold it so now the CB has the thermometer. Looks factory.

Here's several examples: http://www.aerostich.com/catalogsearch/r...=relevance

I bought a handlebar clip clock once for my Nighthawk 750 from Aerostich and accidentally broke it (my fault) and I called them and ordered another one explaining what I'd done and they sent another one to me for free!
