Lovely bike
I had an 1983 version at one point and loved it.

Great pictures of a great bike. I bought a 1978 Suzuki.....in 1978.... the GS400's big brother the GS1000. I can't be believe how nice that GS400 looks. I absolutely love it.

Very nice, I bought a 79 GS425 (Red) that was in the same condition
when I was collecting in the 90s. Friend of a friend deal - I think it had less then 2000 miles and at the end of the sale he said "oh by the way here is a new tank I never installed" . He had it stored in a basement and had dented the stock one. Wish I still had it. In the 80s and early 90s I owned 6 of the GS450s.

Unbelievable !
It really looks nice next to the pristine CB1100. So clean, I was channeling the old Suzuki Ad slogan from around or just a little before that time: 'Suzuki's "Blow-em in the Weeds Four-Strokes"' (or something similar to that) :-)

Quite the Beauty!... Glad you have it & will give it the care & appreciation for such a machine!... even hydraulic clutch!...I can imagine the "twinge" metallic sound of a thump to the shiny front fender... thanks for pictures & period ad...

How good is that?

I wonder how a new version, slightly freshened up (say with EFI) would sell today.
