Say what you want about HD / HD riders but...

Those guys ride. I spent all weekend riding around and the vast majority of bikes were HD and the vast majority of riders waved back at me. I've shot my mouth of a couple of times about pirate gear, selling a lifestyle, etc but I wanted to give credit to the guys who get out and put some miles on. Only a couple of sportbikes out once I got out of the city so.... maybe power isn't everything.

I did 250 miles in north-northwest and central Kentucky today. I saw the same thing. The vast majority waved but there were a few holdouts...

Many of us own and ride HD motorcycles in addition to the CB11. Most HD riders love my CB11 and I think most CB riders would love several different HD models. Power Ranger or Pirate, riding is riding. Cheers.

Ride we do now and years ago many would raise a hand or give a nod, its just a thing some do and others refrain from.
I don't think what bike your on has much to do with it, once you've got some serious distance between you and the next town I find most will show some response to a greeting gesture.

There is just so many of them. Even out here, I only saw 2 bikes Sunday! Both Harleys, both 2 up.
All the biker wave to each other out here, just not to scooters.

Nothing but Harleys where I live. Most of them wave FIRST which is cool especially since they see me coming in all my gear. Everyone I know who rides, rides a Harley, I'm literally the only one who doesn't. They're all great people.

I don't like Harley's bikes (I HAVE owned one in the 21st century) nor the poser or pirate riders that are too good to wave at all to a non H-D. Lots of that around here. One example of that is someone that works where I now work who is same age as me, 60. He was very friendly and talkative to me about riding, sharing several stories, etc. until I mentioned I ride Hondas. Now he barely says hello. And I've since learned that he has never gotten his M/C license and is unregistered and uses a fictitious plate. You would think he'd be mature by that age, no?

Of course there are lots good people on all makes certainly H-D too, and some H-D riders really RIDE many miles a year, but you can't deny seeing four or five year old bikes with 2000 miles or less on them listed in classifieds/craigslist ads.
