Triumph Bonnevilles? Show 'em off!
#31
I'm a Bonnie guy. Old and modern. Here are mine: Goodwood Green 2006 ( my re-entry to motorcycling bike, will never sell it). 2005 Bonneville Black, which I picked up cheap and will, someday, customize/ cafe it). And a mint 1970 T120, restored but ridden.

The last picture of an old triumph is the one I dig.
The other, well, I ask myself, what went wrong with the Bonnie Design?
It's too corny, not really well balanced.

I've always been of the opinion that the Nortons of that era were better looking than the Triumphs, but that picture - of that model - would definitely have me second-guessing myself about that.
Just a beautiful bike.

IMO Nortons were classy and Bonnies were classic. Love them both.

Nortons were beautiful bikes and the girls in their ads were even better. They should bring those ads back.

Love those peashooter mufflers on the Bonnie. Did I see a new Norton somewhere? Yes! Right here... http://www.nortonmotorcycles.com/

The issue I see with the new Nortons (not counting delivery issues) are in the design.. motor, tank and pipes look great, the rest is a mess. Plus the fact when Bloor brought out the new Bonnies, they were aimed at the average Joe with a price most anyone could afford at under $ 10,000, while the new Nortons are for those with a lot of disposable income at around $20,000 and up.
