I was just in Pro Italia yesterday during a SoCal visit, and just drooled at the collection of MV, Aprilia and Ducati machines on offer. That 800 is sweet.

Fortunately/unfortunately my favorite dealership - where I also bought my Triumph Bonneville - carries MV, and they're a whopping 18 miles from me, and I know and trust them enough to be realistically tempted to partake of this high-strung Italian beauty.

For the guys posting all those sexy alternative bikes, thanks, and I'm still enough of a sportbike fan to be aware of all of them, regardless of whether I feel I can ride them anymore - the thing is, only THIS one just takes my breath away. (Well, and to a slightly lesser degree, the Ducati Panigale. )

Ducati 899 Panigale vs. MV Agusta F3 800 vs. Suzuki GSX-R750 – Comparison Test of these bikes prove my point, none are made for the street.

I purchased a 2012 750 Gixxer 3 years ago, best handling bike I've ever owned, worst bike I've owned for the street. The bike had character on top which left me riding in 2nd gear anything under 60MPH. In this middle weight class there is nothing down low-midrange, its all on top above 7000PRM's.

I traded it after 1 month 1300MI for a CBR1000RR. Night and day difference regarding ride ability on the street. Middle weight SS are track only bikes IMO.
