Seen the CB500x adventure bike?
Giant loop website has info on making the CB500 into a serviceable adventure bike, video of a cross Australia tour. Interesting.

Thats pretty cool. Wish that had been around a few years ago before I bought the TW. I could use a few more CCs

The x models arent adventure bikes and Honda knows it..

Go to powersports and check out their street and off road sections. Each has a Adventure section (wtf??) notice what bikes are missing in the off-road link

Not a full blown Starbucks Adventure Bike by any means, got me to thinking though. I wouldn't mind a mild mannered dependable bike that could handle the occasional fire road but be happy on the curvy country roads while being dependable with good service support.
Keeping my eyes open for an unloved CB500 on the less expensive side, something else to add to my wish list.
