2014 Valkyrie
#1
Thinking about buying a 2014 Valkyrie to compliment by CB. Anyone own one of these or have any opinion about them? The bike is new and comes in either red or black. I think they are asking just over $13k.

My buddy owns one (blue). It's a beast. I've ridden it on a couple of occasions. 750 lbs but low seat height. Fairly manageable for it's wieght. It seems a much smaller bike when rolling due to low center of gravity. Torque monster. Smooth.

He goes through motorcycles like underwear so he's already looking to trade in (owned for about a year). He is actually looking at a 14 CB1100 they have in stock down the road. He says he misses leaning a bike over (GREAT RIDER, I have trouble keeping up with him in the twisties on my Bonnie when he's on the beast).

So if you're keeping the CB the Valk will be a good compliment IMO as a mile muncher/2 up sled.

They got great reviews but were never a real good seller.

Thanks. I love my CB, but I want something that would be better for long rides, like 300+ miles. I haven't actually seen one, but I am going to head over to West Memphis and check them out.

I guess some folks don't like the way they look. Can't wait to see one in person, but from the pictures they look great.

after i decided not to buy a new 2018 wing i was on the fence for this .
2015 that only had 4300 miles , 1st service complete and no damage.
it took the guy several listings to sell it but was a great deal and lighter than the 2018 goldwing. talked to the owner and he said i could have it for $9,000
I have ridden one and it was a blast to ride so I say buy itThumbs Up

These are neat bikes. I demoed one from work and had it leaned over in the twisties with a big grin on my face. The GL18 engine is one of my favorites and this bike feels fast with the lower weight. Find a used one instead because you can pick them up for under $10k.
