I put a $20 pair of hiway pegs on mine for a 3 week trip and they helped considerably for stretching the legs--didn't use them a lot time wise, but just the fact that I could change the leg position for 10 mintues here and there was helpful.

Huh? You don't have highway pegs yet Alain? (What did we talk about in the spring? )Anyway, I think you should execute on them, especially if we ever get to the 2021 Rally - which looks not assured from today's vaccine deployment point of view. I can see the border guard saying, "Proof of vaccination please."

MANY members view the Poll MANY times just to see how wrong the other side is.

I didn’t vote against them, just that I never installed them. Don’t plan on it, but don’t have them. Heck, the ST has built in tip over bars and I did install rear ones on that bike.

I have had many bikes since I started riding back in the day. The first bike I put case savers on was my 1974 CB750 Four. They were chrome and low profile enough to blend with the overall look of the bike. I never did like the look of the full size crash bars back then. Anyway, the bike slid out from under me in a slow turn from a dead stop. The case saver bent, but protected the engine, so I was able to pick the bike up and drive away. I was in college at the time and money was tight. I simply took the damaged and undamaged case saver off, and was back in business with no indication the bike had been down. It made me a believer in at least case savers.
I have SW Motech case saver bars on my 1100 EX. They blend well with the naked bike look, and are very well engineered. Some members have not used the included Motech long mounting bolts, and/or the wrong mounting torque values which prompted me to share my research in this thread: [url=http://cb1100forum.com/forum/showthread.php?tid=8360&page=2]http://cb1100forum.com/forum/showthread....360&page=2 I am a case saver user, but there is nothing wrong with not using them either. It is simply a matter of personal preference.
