The seat is not nearly as comfortable as the old wing so I'm losing interest. And the price is well beyond my "oh what the heck let's give it a whirl" level. Leg room is marginal so I have some concerns there too. Did I mention the price is a bit high? I'd get an older wing but frankly I do like what I hear on the handling and the lighter weight.
The new NC750X with DCT is coming later in the summer; it may do a better job of ticking some of my boxes. The Africa Twin and DL1000 still are options.

I dont know anything about the old wing, have never even sat on one. The seat is like every other bike, like it or dont. I will be sending mine in this winter to Wingsoft for reworking. My girlfriend really likes it though but I want a little softer ride. I am 6’2 and legroom is no problem.
So far the only long distance ride I have done is around 800 km but I have almost 12000 km on the bike and I love it. They changed a lot of things from the old style one and that is why I bought it. More like an ST1300.

Beautiful bikes, especially the CBX. I love the '79 model the best.
I had the exact same blue CB750K0. Mine was a '70 but it was identical in appearance to the die-cast '69's. Is your '69 a sandcast or a die-cast?

The red and blue bikes are 69 diecast. Green is a 71 and the orange is a 72. All are stock. They have all been barn find restores. I have another 69 in the shed that will get restored this winter in gold, so I will have the whole set of 69's. As you can tell I have a hard time letting go once I get them done.

It's only early July, but the dealers here are already clearing out their remaining 2018 inventory. The season will be over in about eight weeks. First evidence is $1000 cash rebate on the already-discounted '18 Gold Wings. I've only seen one on the road so far this summer. Are they selling?
