Honda Announcements
#1
The discussion about the CB1300 somewhere or other led me again to Honda's Japan site. It's always fun because my being able to read it relies on Chrome's built-in translation algorithm.

What I discovered yesterday and today—aside from looking at the CB1300—was two announcements:

[li]Honda has released the Benly e: electric scooter. If you have Google Chrome on a PC, you can read all about it here.[/li] [li]Since 1948 Honda motorcycles global cumulative motorcyle production reaches 400,000,000 units. The piece notes that, for the first time, in 2018, Honda's global operations 'surpassed 20 million units'. That one is here.[/li] [li]Today sees: 'Launch of the new ADV150 adventure-style mini motorcycle model'. here. To keep the pictures-or-it-didn't-happen mob happy:

Great finds, Cormanus! I like all of them. It's particularly neat to see all the variations of the CB1100 that have come out since 2010, or whenever.

I should have included some pictures of the Bely e:

Here's what I think is the basic model ...

Here's the Benley e: Pro ...

And here's pictures of the batteries and chargers ...

Looks like they could be interchangeable, meaning no sitting around while the batteries charge.

The press release also pointed to the scooter having a 'reverse assist function that improves convenience when switching in narrow places or on slopes.'
