New (middle weight) bike suggestions?

I'm sure that's right, pdedse. I'll never be a two bike guy so the part of me that want the CB to go forever hopes I'll never get to find out.

This iteration of the SV650 has been catching my eye. There is one at Kevin Powell Motorsports that may eventually win the standoff.

The price is hard to beat on a proven engine.

Where the weight and power are in your parameters I don't think it has enough of the creature comforts that you require.

SV650 is a great bike and a fabulous value. I owned two when they first arrived in the U.S. about twenty years ago (Standard and S model). This was before they were fitted with fuel injection in ‘03 or ‘04. These bikes definitely punch above their weight.

I checked out the Yamaha Tracer 900, which had been my “goal” u til I sat on it and really checked it out, at Kevin Powell MotorSports.
My personal opinion, I will drive 100 miles out of my way to avoid that dealership.

Have been researching Suzuki offerings since several folks suggested them, as well as Honda 650. Creature comforts can be added as long as riding position acceptable.

Not impressed with RE, reminds me of my Ural adventures. I did enjoy my Ural. I currently have a Triumph T100 and RE just too similar in style. Have a 500X I keep in the mountains, love it.
NC750X logical choice. Looks wise F800GT.

First world problems!

I have purchased 2 bikes from there (including my CB1100) and there probably won't be a 3rd but the SVX...
