I really like small bikes, and they kind of are more fun. Nobody knows you're racing. Riding a YZF-R3 right now, put 110 miles on it last night, and another 200 in the next couple days, but 70mph = 7300rpm. Talk about buzz/kill.

We had Vespas in Europe, small engine/125cc scooters, but Lambretta was more popular with 175 cc, I think??
This "dog" you working on is a 3 wheeler...different animal, what's wrong with it?

The 3-wheelers have issues with the hydraulic system that locks the side-to-side tilting front end when coming to a stop or parking. The safety system honks the horn at times when it's not all kosher.

Do these have an hydraulic unit/pump to control frt suspension??

Yes they do. Fortunately it's not connected to the braking circuit (a la Citroen).
In actually riding it, the twin front wheels really are amazing. You hardly need to worry about debris or road imperfections when cornering/leaning - very reassuring. Hope Yamaha imports their Tri-City 300 scooter.
