RE 2021 X-ADV:

Heh, heh, ... beautiful above the cloudy valley, puff on the cigarette in hand. That DCT tech is gettin' alotta application use in Honda's line-up. The lump used is the same as that used in the NC750X?

" ... understand just what does he say?
I'm on a M ... "

Interesting.

Yeah, North America tends to significantly lag in new Honda product offerings compared to Europe. Additionally, Canada lags the U.S. The general word is Europe is the "testing ground" for the U.S. Hmm, does that make the U.S. the testing ground for Canada? (quite unlikely)

Not true of the CB1100. Japan, Asia and Australia got them in 2010; Europe and the US in 2013.

Not really. They have tried, but the market doesn't support them well, at least in the Honda product line.

Aprilia/Vespa/Piaggio has done a bit better, but nothing compared to Europe and Asia.

In regards to Honda, the Forza 300 disappeared in Canada in 2016 and the PCX150 was dropped in 2018 before significant feature refreshes. Canada might (?) finally get the Monkey in 2021, but that is years after the U.S. has had it. Of course, the CB1100 didn't come until 2013 - well after its 2010 introduction. Canada doesn't even have the Super Cub, but it has been available in the U.S. for a couple of years now.

The X-ADV was a 2020 U.S. Honda rumor, but I don't think it materialized. I think it would have done well, but maybe at the expense of the NC750XD which really is limited to "urban adventure".

I see Honda just introduced an ADV350 scooter. No word if it’s coming to the USA yet. If they do, I will have a Big Ruckus for sale.

Yeah, these should be interesting to see unfold in North America.
