Yep, good review. Sounds like you liked it alright.
Cycle World got 66 rwhp out of their test unit (48.99 lb ft torque), that's why I figured you would find it kind of down on power. Then again it is only an 850 and not a liter bike.

Nice review GO. I agree with it on the whole. They don't have the horse power but they do have some get up and go. Riding mine is nothing like riding my concours but then I don't expect it to be and in a lot of ways I find the V85 to be more fun to ride.

I ride a 58 hp 51 lb ft torque bike as my daily rider, and am pretty happy with it, but every time I ride my 85 hp 61 lb ft of torque CB 1100, I wish the NC had THAT motor in it lol.
