Nice kick between 7K and redline...

I read somewhere the limiter is in 4th or 5th gear only or 112 mph max with a soft limiter coming in at 108. That explains the dyno charts shutting down at about 7000 rpm. But, I have seen a few charts that let it pull to 8500. 2 Bros exhaust is one. Now how they got it to pull is a mystery to me unless they dynoed the the thing in 3rd gear. But then the numbers would be different. Maybe I should email them and ask.

There is not much more to be had past 7000 anyway but it does stay pretty flat and does not fall off much at all the last 1000 rpm.

As to quarter mile times, I have seen from 11.8 to 12.6 but both were at the same speed of 110. I cant help but wonder if the limiter is holding it back some here. Of course, the nut behind the bars make a huge difference and the 60 ft times are critical as well.

It gets real smooth. Bike feels great up there, just make sure you got some road ahead of you.

I'll definitely take mine up to 8K through the lower gears and get it over 100 once or twice. Just did my first oil change and should be ready for 6-7k , with a few runs 8k in a couple hundred more miles.
