I ordered this slip-on
[url=http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00DRBDRWW?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00]2 Brothers Black Series M2
and I'm not sure if I should mount it when it gets here or wait until after the first service to mount the pipe on the bike.
I know dealers will mount them on bikes before you ever ride off the lot but, does it hurt the bike?

My dealer mounted a Yoshimura RS-3 on my CB before it left the lot and I've experienced no problems whatsoever. I have a couple of friends who run Two Brothers slip-ons on their VFR800s and the sound is fantastic. Of course, those V4s have an amazing growl to begin with. It'll be interesting to learn your impression once you have it installed. Unfortunately, videos only provide a hint at how your exhaust will sound as they are limited by the quality of the microphone recording it and the speakers playing it.

My service department went nuts over the full Yosh. Loved the way it sounded too. No issues from them whatsoever.

I bought it because the two brothers tend to be very throaty to begin with and I wanted that more than a higher pitched pipe.
I'll certainly let you know what it sounds like though.
You have a picture and video of your bike so we can hear it?

I have a picture. One of my favorites:

As far as sound, it goes "Vroom, vroom, vroooooom." Or something like that.

Wait? For what? Slap that sucker on there, ASAP!

I got a TBR Carbon slip-on for my '08 Concours 14 when it was new and it still sounds great after 25,000 miles.
