Was doing some checks on my CB after installing a TSR funnel. Plugs looked lean so I figured I should get a custom map for my bike. Took off the seat and found a brown wire broken going into the PCFC unit (about 2 inches away from the unit). However, I can't trace it back down into the unit after cutting open the mesh. Is it supposed to be like this? Status light is ok on the unit. Anyone got ideas?

Don't know what its purpose is but that does not appear to be a "broken" wire. It looks cut. Which, to me means, it is for some option or other country requirement not required or used on your bike?

Do you have a schematic for the unit?

Requested a wiring schematic and information on the broken wire

If the bike is running and the unit is powering, there is not a problem. You should be able to just make your fuel changes from the closest matching map, the harness does not have a breakdown, but if the unit is powering on and the bike is running you are good to go, thank you.

That is a strange reply. The harness does not have a breakdown? What, they just found it under a rock? They must have the info, but don’t want to put it out.

No install instructions nor schematic on their website is not confidence inspiring.

Can you not check at the plug end to see what wire it mates to on the bike?
