Dude! I was heading to a pickup location where I’m currently waiting. I was on the 134 freeway in North Hollywood bombing along in the car pool lane when I came up behind a Mongol on a Harley.

Normally you avert your gaze, do not engage and whatever you do, do not pass a vested Mongol.

He moved out of the car pool lane and waved me by. Then stayed a respectful distance behind me for a few miles. After a while he flew past me and gave me a wave.

Wow.
You know what? I actually would like a pickle.

My money is on him having needed a transfusion once upon a time and knowing how bloody important your ride is.  Heart

I called the boss as it was happening. He was pretty surprised.

The day just kept getting better. I did 292 miles today and had to stop for gas on the way home in Long Beach.

I was near Mrs. G”s favorite ice cream place. We don’t usually bring ice cream home from there as it’s a 30 minute drive, but my coolers were still chilled enough so I stopped to grab a pint.

The guy gave me a “public service worker” discount. Nice!

Another caterpillar enters Harlan’s cocoon, soon to emerge as a big yellow butterfly.
With horns, flashing lights and cameras.

About 75 miles of dirt, gravel and rocks...lots of rocks! I feel like someone put me in the drier, but great fun!

Love that mountain, pdedse.

Gone, you seem to be spending more time tarting up bikes than delivering blood.
