I had a '70 CB750K0 and a '78 CB750F2 SuperSport. Pretty bikes, but I honestly don't miss 'em.

I'll never tell Tongue

I haven't been in there in all these years and I doubt he still has them. He collected them up for an international buyer and they've likely long since left the country.

I stopped counting after restoring and owning around 40, several National show winners. None in my garage currently.

What a pity the CB1100 viewed from the rear doesn't look James Tiberius' excellent example:

Well ... perhaps the round indicators look better. But, those pipes. Cool

For those on a computer, here's a better link to 736cc's pictures. [url=https://www.facebook.com/andy.morris.904/media_set?set=a.1723788687915.97531.1034285613&type=3]https://www.facebook.com/andy.morris.904...613&type=3

Long Ranger, there's a '78 F2 just like yours (not as perfect, of course) for sale near my brother in Monterey. Very tempting, but then I start thinking of the smell of gas in the garage, searching for a new stock pipe when this one goes, etc. Still might be fun for a year or two. You don't miss yours, eh?

I've owned two of the "originals". A 1969 (the blue/green/turquois color - with 4 separate carb throttle cables!) and a red 1976 that a friend in Florida still owns - in fact I just "visited" it last week. Nothing matches the CB1100 though.

My first bike was a brand new 73 green 750 had it for a year before I totaled it doing wheelies. Then a 74 750 that I completely chopped. Custom paint, 18 over springer, raked frame, the whole 9 yards. Then in 78 fell in love with the 750 super sport that I had to have. In 1981 I went with a 650 custom that I had for awhile. I have had so many bikes over the years its hard to keep track of them but always loved the CBs. So after two hip replacements and the 1800 Goldwing getting harder to manage it was time for something smaller and lighter. I walked into the Honda shop and they had a 13 cb1100 with 900 miles on it and it was love at first sight. The bike brought me back to my CB roots and I love everything about the bike except the seat lol

Very discerning, slolane. The seat has little to recommend it.

I didn't had one but saw a nicely restored mother of all fours today at a gathering place on sundays near Kiel called Rastdorfer Kreuz. Two other CB750 were also among all the motorbikes. One of them is also on the pic.
