I will also be interested in the Corbin seat report. I love the look. I think it will look great on the black standard. (The more red trim, the better...)

Awesome transformation sir. Interested to see how the ammo cans will look painted.

I hope to get back to mounting the ammo cans over winter break. I just have to finish up the final report on my senior design project first. Busy with race car parts and one other class... I try to remember the other class from time to time.

I've had a couple of questions on the windscreen. It is a National Cycle plexifairing3, it looks like it is available from a variety of stores for around $215.

I just ordered a set of crash bars from China. I don't know what to expect for quality yet, but they look like a knockoff set when comparing pictures to [url=http://www.samurider.com/?p=22173/#itemImage]these on Samurider

Installed the crash bars tonight. Went OK for a product from China. But as long as you put all the bolts in loose and are careful not to cross-thread the nuts on the ubolt, it works out good. Overall a good value for $140.

I was going to buy some of these. I kept asking for the diameter of the bars, but got impatient and pulled the trigger to purchase Then, they sent me an email that the bars measured something like 7/8". My clamps were 1" so I asked them to cancel the purchase, which they gladly did. I then ordered the SW Motech bars which fit the cycle perfectly. They are 1 1/8" diameter where I would mount my footpegs so I had to buy new clamps and shim them, but no problems. Seeing the pic of your Chinese bars makes me think they measured the smaller support bar and not the outer bars. The Chinese bars look exactly like the German-made Motechs.
