With a leaky front tire and a dusty air filter, my 2014 1100A was down to 35 mpg!
I fixed the leaky front tire and blew all the dust out of the air filter with compressed air. Now it's back to 43 mpg again.
I live in the burbs' and there are a lot of lights. I rarely see 6th gear... 3, 4, and 5 are more typical.

I hear ya. But to go from burb-to-burb (if that is a thing people do), are they not joined by freeway? In any case, burb-riding with lights is not so much fun, if not in fact, Motorcycle Hades.

Just got 45 mpg on my last tank around town... Happy to be back to near normal numbers!
