Really considering givin up riding

c-breezy, I don't think it can be said often enough that you will never, ever know, looking from your saddle to the eyes of the driver in a car whether you have actually made eye contact. Watch the wheels. If they move, act.

Yup, I pretty much assume every cager is ready to do something unexpected. It's a blessing and a curse - riding a bike feels amazing and makes the commute fun, but then, so many bad drivers out there!
