Superbrace fork brace

I called Superbrace yesterday. Asked if they had more pics of their product mounted on a CB1100. They emailed me some pics today. I think I will order one.

Nice Photos, thank you for posting! What clearance is there between the brace and the chrome mudguard please? Just thinking about the potential for dirt / moisture / rust trap on our lovely chrome!

Lol...it looks really tight on the front fender to me as well. If I were to hazard a guess I'd say a credit card wouldn't fit between the fender and the brace, but then again that's just a guess.

I just went out to the garage to check. A piece of paper won't fit through between the entire span underneath the "Superbrace" logo. I don't know if that's good or bad, or even if it was manufacturer's intent. Unfortunately, I don't remember how machined and polished the underside of the brace is, as I didn't put it on myself...plus the fact that I also held an in-production unit during my visit, so I fear I might be confusing the in-process surface of that sample with a finished product. I doubt it will rust out for me, but I don't ride in the rain. In defense of Superbrace, it looks like a tight fit. I won't be taking mine off soley for that reason, but I suppose a layer of silicone sealant applied between the brace and the fender could ensure that debris don't access the area beneath the brace. If the installer had attempted that, I'd have declined, saying I first would want to see if it works for me.

Again, and as I've said before, I could feel a difference, even on non-challenging routes, and tasks as mundane as changing lanes at low speeds. The improvement was an eye opener for me, as this is my first motorcycle (I am a long-time cyclist) and I'm not familar with how changes in equipment influence a motorcycle's handling characteristics.

Thanks for taking the time to look and answer. It certainly looks great and I'm interested by how much of a difference you feel it has made. Very tempted myself actually!

I really like those fork protectors. When I looked on the Superbrace website, it seems that they only offer models without fork protectors for the CB11. Is this something new?
