Hyperpro suspension options for the CB1100

When you say "huge improvement" just what are you gaining? I ask as I suspect I don't stress the shocks I have - but then again, you don't know what you don't know.......

My main reason for getting them was because I primarily ride canyons roads and felt that the rear end needed way more rebound dampening. This was most noticeable (and scariest) when hitting rough patches as you you would be setting up for a corner at speed. It would kick me forward and not allow me to brake as hard. Problem solved with the hyper pros. I'm also only about 160 lbs with gear.

After putting some time on them, the compression circuit is a huge improvement over stock but makes me wish there were better options for the front end. When hitting bumps, I feel it in the front forks and the rear end is completely smooth.

They are MUCH stiffer than the stock shocks so it may be a bit much if you just ride flat and straight roads or don't push the bike too much. I was also having a problem of dragging the yosh exhaust in corners and it has helped a little with that but I suspect it is also the soft forks that contribute to that. Overall it was money well spent!

nice set up jm! are you dragging the tail section of the yosh? thats pretty aggressive lean angles. I replace the stock cartridges of my forks with a fork cartridge that is fully adjustable made by traxxion dynamics and the front end dive and compression damping has been improved dramatically if you ride aggressive.

Any luck sourcing the YSS ( Yacugar ) rear shocks ? DOnt see them listed for the CB1100 on their website. I have the front/rear YSS shocks on my R1200RT as more economical option to Ohlins and they are just fantastic compared to stock, their recommended setting were right on the money
