I had three for awhile. Not a good thing, especially since I had to pay to store them.
I use a storage bay as a garage. Which at least is cheaper than getting an apartment with a garage included.
I'm down to two now. It's a bit of a hassle...even though one is paid for and both of them have "PERMANENT" registration (never expires in my state) and the state doesn't require insurance. So...no fixed costs.
But, still. I'm on the CB for a week of something going on, and the TW gets ignored. Then I'm in town and the TW is the mount for five days, and the CB gathers dust.
Yet...I cannot get rid of one or the other. What the one does well, the other cannot. It's beyond silly to take an 1100-cc bike around the block to pick up the mail; but it's insanity to try and take the 50-mph TW200 into the next big city, 120 miles away.
I need both. I will lose money if I sell either. So I'm kinda stuck with both.
And meantime, I lust. A pristine CX500; or a naked Suzuki of some sort...or a Yamaha SR400...
