Still deep and throaty, just annoyingly less so!

It's rude and annoying to the vast majority of people on every road you drive down...past every home, past every store, every business, restaurant...and yes, they can hear it even though you think "I'm not near them'...

I love the sound of my baffle removed Arrow on my CB. It’s louder than stock but stock is literally the sound of a sewing machine.

Now my VTX has Cobra pipes with Quiet Thunder baffles and I think it’s loud but people tell me (some on this forum) that it’s not that bad. I like it though because it’s keeping in the spirit of the bike.

I actually really love the sound of my stock 2020 EX. It is commanding and business-like with the right amount of gearbox and cam chain whine. Which makes it all the more frustrating when people on YouTube put annoying music over the top of them!

Yeah, I could never understand that either.

Let's hear the bike moan!! That is the sound of its soul.

Many sound overlays are soooooo lame too with c-rap and other souless pop.

It may need to be repacked. You can send it in to Yoshimura and have it gone for a very reasonable price. Or follow the you tube videos and do it yourself although it’s messy.

I just got the bike and unless the previous owner transferred it over from another bike, I would hope it can go more than 230 miles between repacks. I am kind of sensitive to loud noises though so it is probably just me. Smile

All I want is a bit of growl.

then again i apricate a quiet vehicle especially on long trips each have their place

I went to the drags just one time when they were running some top fuel cars. That single experience redefined what loud was for me, lol. I could literally feel the volume generated by the exhausts of those cars deep in my bones.
