I use HH pads front and rear, Brembo, which are quite cost effective. These no doubt wear the rotor a little faster but the CB is a low mileage bike for me so I am not concerned.
An HH front and GG rear are a common combo on bikes, this was the OEM combo on my Tiger 1200. With the rear brake being so less effective on a bike I guess manufacturers don't see much value of HH on the rear or are trying to keep costs down (or both).
I did stick with stock on the rear after fitting the Brembo front pads but did eventually got Brembo all round. The front gave me more braking power, maybe around 15%. The biggest change I felt front/rear was the feel from the brakes, especially a lighter effort at the lever/pedal.
