I couldn't live with a 120 mph Speedo though. Thank God I got a 13 while I still could.

... Regarding the 120mph speedo vs. the 140mph...

Having 25+mph on the speedo that the needle could never possibly see due to the limiter seems, to me, like a design that was poorly thought out. Is there some downside to Honda's switch to a 120mph speedo on the '14s that I'm not aware of?

My Guzzi has the signal switch below the horn on the left. Seems very natural to me; but now that I have the CB I end up hitting the dang horn on the Guzzi, and from time to time, on the CB.

I rented a Honda NC700X in LA this week, and the giant grey horn button was a real pain. I beeped every time I wanted to signal or just moving my thumb. My Guzzi had the same setup. It actually makes you take your eyes off the road at times to hit the signals. Bad design.

I've used the E flashers many times on my Concours 14. If traffic slows or stops for whatever reason I turn 'em on so the half asleep, talking-on-the-phone idiots don't rearend me.

Got to admit I've never thought about using my flashers in any of these situations. Ive pulled over to put rain gear on 3 times in maybe 10 years, and in 2 of those I pulled into a parking lot. Only once on the freeway under an overpass that I recall.i couldn't tell you where the emergency flasher button is on my ST. Have no idea.

Have never used it to signal slowing traffic, I use my brake light tapping it repeatedly but that sounds like a good use for them

I rarely come upon a group of bicyclists but we just lane share, and I zip around them. I have never been blocked by them.

I would have thought the answers would have been a resounding NO. Interesting.

Thanks for the feedback. Gives me something to ponder.

Yep, it's still a PITA. I can never find the turn signal switch on the VFR.
