Aha moment
#21
Yea. The other night I had some place to go and I was running a bit late. Before this in the first 600 or so miles I had "just" let it wind up and go poky or such. I did not flog it last night. I did push it a bit. And WOW. That sucker really impressed me with it's picken'em up and layin'em down. Nothing frantic or pushin'. Just gone.
I have owned a couple of CBR900RR's circa '98 & '99. Dag. If one wanted a really good tool to go somewhere in a hurry there they are.
Also, I used to Bracket Drag Race a 750 and then stepped up to the old 1100F. If I remember right the torque curve is a definite step one can feel at 6500. And blam it tells you thank you for actually letting me do something.
As it was it was really impressive to just go.
It is also the reason that I have a reflash planned in the future.

Don't spend 3K-4.5K on granny panties. Buy cheapos and put the change into petrol. You'll go faster. And they'll look better with your cloak.
