Thanks Flynrider, I guess after years of working on stuff you find out how to make it work. The only problem with that mod is I have to cut off the black tie wraps each time I want to change the windshield but I only change it twice a year because I ride with a windshield year 'round. I checked with National Cycle and replacement parts to make that windshield fit the 2013 CB1100 would cost about $35 BUT they are not in stock and would have to be ordered, so lesson, don't lose or break the parts.

I deleted those pictures because I was afraid if a new motorcycle rider tried and failed to make modifications to the windshield and it didn't work it might reflect badly on these forums and I sure don't want that.
