its beautiful, but i just paid 6600 out the door for a holdover '14 with 1 mile on it and a warranty. i have plenty of modified bikes that are worth a LOT less than i have in it. average retail is 7300 or so according to nada. trade in is around 5500. so add 1k for the mods, your at 6500 asking. keep it up there though, just takes one person. took 3 times listing my ducati to get a bite, but it paid off. niche bikes are a pia to sell for sure. good luck.

If I want to sell something, I always set the price that sells the item fast.
If want to buy something, I paid the price for which I will own it.
First, I bought my '14 CB, then I sold my '13 one within 2 weeks. Period.
If cannot afford something, I stopped dreaming about it.
I am done.

Well that is what we are talking about, a 2014 Deluxe. They usually sale for about $2000 more than a standard which is why it isn't overpriced.

I'm sorry but it is overpriced. I know you're kind of stuck with some mods but people just don't want to pay for them and unless you get very lucky in that it is exactly what one person is looking for you're kind of screwed. I hope you get what you're looking for though.

I also think that the bike is overpriced. I always assumed that used bike buyers look at most mods as a negative, I know I do. I certainly wouldn’t expect it to add any used value, as cool as they are. Never know though dude, right fella might come along. Follow your gut.

I generally think used-bike buyers tend to be drawn to a specific price point vs. a specific brand or model. They're generally more budget-conscious than new-bike buyers, because they usually have to pay in cash. "Let's see, what can I get for $4000-5000? Oh, that's a cool looking Honda, but the Yamaha I looked at yesterday is a newer bike, plus I prefer the blue vs. the red and it's $100 cheaper too."

Hey guys, I've deleted a couple of the "I'll buy your..." posts that were added to this thread the last couple of days.

Once again: we have a section for Want to Sell/Want to Buy/Want to Trade elsewhere on the forum. Discussing prices or advising others on what to expect when selling something is okay, but let's not stray past the rules. I've given enough people grief recently over posting stuff for sale in the General Discussion area, just being consistent here.
