Ok, I Googled it and all I got was helicopters in Bangkok. So unless it's a basket with a hole in the bottom hanging from pulley over the bed, you're going to have to 'splain it to Lucy. (If it is the basket, I don't want to know).

Motorcycle taxi. If you want to get from A to B in traffic jam conditions ("Rot dit" - common in Bangkok), they are a risky option. One large westerner (farang) on the pillion, supplied with an ill fitting pudding bowl helmet, one little Thai guy who fancies himself a MotoGP ace and who has finely gauged your knee width and you have an interesting experience as you weave at warp speed through the traffic. Before you try, check out fatality stats and do a time/death risk assessment Smile.
