I slept and dreamt that life was joy.
I awoke and saw that life was service.
I acted and behold, service was joy.

Good one, Tommy. I was impressed at your perseverance with the "Whitehouse tank Vs Honda connector"! A good foretaste of what I'm in store for.

Hi Bazbro,

At least with the CB1100 2017 fuel line connector, the main challenge was that I didn't understand the connector disconnect mechanism. Once you figured out the trick, it was do-able. On the 2017 SR400, the problem wasn't a matter of understanding, just one of being near impossible due to the physical constraints. All's well that ends well though. I put 215 miles on it yesterday. Had to come back east to freezing temperatures and a forecast of 7" of snow tomorrow. Oh well....

The key to the 2017 CB connector is to use the white clip as a removal tool. Post if you have any issues. Knowing the technique saves several hours....

Thanks for that, Tom.
I'm in France until May and the 'bike's in England. I haven't even SEEN it yet!
So I can't wait to get home and get started on the rebuild... Smile
