Turn signal switch sticking is not normal. Some spray should take care of that.
I digital gear shift indicator can be added. Healtech makes a plug and play unit. I have them on both my bikes. It plugs into the diagnostic connector under the left side cover. A short one time set up and its good to go.
Link to GiPro: https://www.healtech-electronics.com/products/gipro I have the older DS model. That new X model looks interesting.
And to rag on my buddy PB: waste
I confirm, mine was hard too, a little spray lubricant was enough to make it perfect.

Thanks WY, I know Montrose well. In fact, we had a CB1100 meet-up there a few years ago. I’m sure you’ve ridden Lizard Head Pass from Telluride down to Dolores — it’s one of my favorites.
The CO BMW club holds an annual rally in Paonia each July. All bikes are welcome and it’s really a great event with great, easy going people. Perhaps something for you to look into for this year. It’ll be the 50th annual this year.

I do indeed know and have ridden LizardHead down to Dolores and it's beautiful. One of my favorite rides is over Independence pass, but of course you're limited to a somewhat short window of opportunity.
Paonia is only about 45 minutes from here. I'll look into that BMW event. That would be a fun and easy day ride for me.

Shot some silicone lubricant in there today and that did the trick. Thanks.
