Looking for Original Owner
#11
If you like the mods. & live close by it's not a bad buy. If it's set up for your style CB good luck and let us know! Being at a dealer tell him you like the stock bike better he should come down on price Smile

If you can get the dealer to say what the last 4 digits of the VIN are, then you can look it up on the forum registry.

Off the top of my head, I don't remember seeing a bike with those particular mods here, but I could be wrong (it happened once in 1981).

Live 6 hours/ 380 miles from dealer. Lower bars and no original parts are the fly in the ointment.

Pretty sure now it was Gixxerman. Sent him an email through the site.

Original owner was GIXXERMAN. Talked to him and am satisfied I'm buying a great bike. Appreciate everyone's advice.

Did gxr really "dispose" of the original parts? It can all be replaced of course, but its be great if he kept it.

Gixxerman listed parts on forum. Dealer rep misunderstood Gxr. Gxr said dealership inquired about parts.
