Watching qualifying right now..you should see the wings on the Yamahas... Huge! Look like car spoilers lol.. And the Ducati's have a lot of spoiler too

Looks like front row will be Marquez in pole followed by Lorenzo and Rossi.

Dang, that is a spoiler (no pun intended)...isn't there a "spoiler alert" rule on this forum? I have darn near been kicked off other forums for revealing results, lol!

I watch practice and qualifying like it was a race but no worries, now I know threads may contain spoilers just as the bikes now have spoilers lol!

Marquez's best qualifying lap was on the first of 3 attempts. Lorenzo and Rossi are right on his tail.

If the start is a normal one, expect Marquez to be 3rd, 4th or worse out of the first corner. I hope he has the patience and maturity to pick good spots to pass. He'll be worried the Yamahas and Ducati's get away.

I'll be watching the top 3 as well as Iannone and Vinales. I hope Dani can get into the mix.

Poor Jack Miller is out with an injury, having high sided during a FP.

Poor Dani, I have rooted for him for so many years. Not sure what is going on with him this year.

If you are watching on Bein Sports in the US, I strongly suggest you go to their website and register for their online service. As long as you are a subscriber via cable/ satellite it's free. On their #6 stream, you'll find loads of additional live coverage of practice, qualifying, MotoAmerica, etc. I watched the qualifying live yesterday, and the bonus is that it is raw footage, unedited, with all the graphics and data and post race interviews, but comes with no commentary. The sound of the bikes is cranked up way past what you hear on the TV feed, and it's incredible. A huge upgrade for US motorbike racing enthusiasts this year!
