I have a feeling that if you do a lot of straight line riding, they may not last as long. I have seen people complaining about the wear on them and it seems to be more when doing highway riding. I can imagine city riding might be the same.
Otherwise I have been really happy with them. I like the profile, and the grip has been good.No problem when riding fairly hard on twisty roads. Then again, I find that the suspension of the CB1100 give up far sooner than the tires, and it is a bike that should not be pushed too hard in any case. This means the Z8 are more than competent.
