Whatever happened to the good old days when all motorcycles had one of these. My kawasaki Z1 has both kick and electric leg...Only because it had a habit of boiling the battery dry.

My CB750 also has an over active charging system that tends to dry up the battery. I've perfected my bump start technique over the years when the battery reminds me of this unpleasant condition.

In the old days, you could get an extra 6 months life out of a battery by just using the kick starter when the battery was too far gone for the electric start.
