As important as price is, don't forget about shipping - that can add 10-20% if you're not careful.

Also ask what happens if a part is backordered (out of stock at all warehouses) or cross-shipped from another warehouse - do they hold the parts until it's all in, and if not, do you get charged for shipping.


Lastly, get your best price, but give your local dealer a chance to see if they can match or come close. After all, there won't be any shipping if you pick it up, and if there's a problem with a part and it needs to be returned, there's no shipping charge. Plus it will save days, maybe more.

Had a spill this past weekend, luckily I'm all good with nothing broken, just very sore. My bike went for a nice slide, bounce and slide.

So I have to replace pretty much everything on my handlebars, luckily brake reservoirs are not leaking and don't seem to have too much damage. But handlebars themselves, levers, speedo all need to be replaced. I had the engine protectors so those saved a bit of damage but the left cover on the engine did get worn down a bit and have a little leak now of oil, so it would prob be best for me to replace that as well.

So question is, what source do you guys use to get your parts? I've seen the big ones like JP and Revzilla but for the most part I haven't ordered bike parts up to this point. So reaching out to see what is recommended? I'll use this to make some improvements I suppose as I want to change out the handlebar position.

If you post year and model, and the parts you need, maybe some forum members have what you need. And what is broken on the speedometer? That's a very expensive part.
