Mechanical and engine parts tend to remain available through Honda for quite some time. Body parts (tanks, side covers, exhausts, seats, fenders, accessories, etc.) tend to become unobtainable fairly quickly, especially on low volume models like the CB.
That said, in 1996 I was able to purchase a NOS tank for my ‘70 CB750K0 from my local dealer, and in the correct color too, so you never know. But a new air box? Forget it.
