hmmm when I look at this screenshot I also see that same slight bump/raised spot on the same place...

Never really took notice before, but this could as well be normal?
I talked to another CB owner and he checked his engine cover and he said that area was flush, no bump spot from flaked paint...his CB was not a DLX/EX, so perhaps there is a difference?
I could not scratch away the so called flake and didnt wanna force it, but me thinks it might just be a raised area.
I am gonna go to the dealer tomorrow and check it out myself on some brand new EX models...just to be sure
