I would not travel back to the Original dealer, you might even find your local dealer to have better mechanics. I think this is a correctable non issue. Try the seafoam, chevron or what I use Marine Stabil. Put in the max recommended on the label and find a place to blow this bike out. Don't worry about the break-in period if you have more than 50 miles on the OD. Red line 1,2,3 5 or 6 times, if its a fuel issue this will clean it out. If your nor comfortable give it to one of your sport bike buddies to take care of this for you.
Option 2
Drop a C note and bring it to a local dyno, you will probably notice a choppy throttle around 2500 RPM's let him do a 3 or 4 pulls and than check throttle response and see if things have cleared up.
If you still have a problem go to a local dealer.
