It is small by comparison to other bikes which use a sight glass but I like its quirkiness with its little internal wiper blade. My CB uses no oil so I'm hardly ever checking it but when you do not requiring a rag for a dipstick is a bonus.

When I first saw the wiper blade back in 2013, I thought for sure "another thing to go wrong" (like leaking oil). I am not aware of any leaks by CB1100 owners. Honda seemed to have done a decent job in their wiper implementation.
