A few years ago a bunch of us would do a 4-day loop. One of the best was a tour of the wine country in Sonoma, CA. I rode a rented H-D Street Glide. It was great, except the bike had no real muffler and popped on decel so bad I had to resort to never using the engine for braking, and no one wanted to ride behind me so I was Tail End Charlie the whole ride. We always stay in Motel 6 rooms to cut down on the luggage required and at this age my bones don't like to sleep on the ground. I rode the Yami FJR on some rides, and the Kawi Nomad on some rides here in SoCal. Looking forward to riding the Suzi DL1000 in TX later this year.
