Wearing good gear has saved my wife's life 3 times. That being said, her wrecked bikes & everyone I've ever owned has had plenty of "gear" on them. It's half the fun of making it yours. I know folks that keep them box stock. That's fine too. My bike, my ass, I'll outfit them the way I like.Beer
