I think price depends on your area, if you are in a pricey town or are on the two coasts where things cost more and salaries are higher, you can expect to pay close to full MSRP.
I would not worry about the size or medium amount of power, should be no problem.
Plus, if you buy a smaller, weaker bike now, you will only want a more powerful one later.
And 90 horse power is nothing these days.
