There is a difference between a brake line and an electrical wire. On the front caliper there is an electrical wire to sense the wheel movement during braking.
Additionally you test for combined ABS by placing the bike on the center stand, have someone sit on the back of seat and step on the brake with the front wheel off the ground. You will not be able to turn the front wheel if you have Combined ABS.
